God’s desire is to be with His people and have them know and operate out of this reality. Teaching people how to “remain in” God and minister from this place is the cornerstone of Ascent Ministries. Apart from intimate ongoing fellowship with God, people’s lives are full of striving and performance. From a place of being firmly connected to The Vine, God’s love and power flows through people and produces fruit – - both in thier lives and in the lives of the people they encounter. Learning to “remain in” God is crucial if people are to be light in dark places.

EDUCATION

Continually learning more about who God is and how to walk with Him is vital for leading a fruitful live as a follower of Christ. Ascent provides comprehensive scriptural training on who God is, how he has functioned throughout history, and how this guides us as His followers in contemporary society.

SERVICE

Ascent Ministries locates unmet needs and areas of poverty within communities and mobilizes believers to meet these needs. Depending on the need and community, Ascent Ministries’ staff equips and oversees either local believers or full-time missionaries as they leverage their lives toward bringing Christ’s love to those in need.

PERSONAL FORMATION

Ascent is committed to the holistic development of individuals… physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Staff mentor individuals as they explore their personal history’s impact on their view of God, themselves, those they interact with and serve, and the world they live in. Holistic development and restoration is essential for people to stand as change agents who impact the world.
